Group Abu Abdullah (GAA) is hiring a Senior SAP Specialist for an enterprise Analytics, Dashboard, and Visualization program in Doha, Qatar.

📌 Role Overview

  • Position: Senior SAP Consultant – Dashboard and Visualization

  • Duration: 24 Months (Extendable)

  • Location: Doha, Qatar

  • Industry Focus: Energy / Oil & Gas Sector Preferred

🎯 Role Objective

Manage and provide specialist support for the SAP Analytics workstream in the SAP S/4HANA Transformation Program (covering SAP BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, Business Planning & Simulations, Embedded BPC on BW, SAP Business Data Cloud, Datasphere, SAC, Databricks, BCS/4HANA, BODS, and SAP BO). Define, document, and execute remodeling and enhancements of Analytics solutions, guiding the System Integrator team with key architectural and design decisions.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Dashboard & Analytics Architecture: Develop, support, and validate the Analytics solution design, incorporating industry best practices for dashboarding, visualization, and enterprise reporting capabilities.

  • Platform Migration & Enhancement: Analyze and oversee the migration of analytical and planning platforms to the latest architecture (e.g., BPC to BPC/4HANA, BW to BW/4HANA/Datasphere) while maintaining continuous business operations.

  • Business Advisory & Workshops: Provide BI reporting and analytics consultation to improve business decision-making capabilities. Plan and conduct stakeholder workshops to optimize reporting processes.

  • Project Delivery & Methodology: Plan, execute, and report project status, risks, and issues using SAP ACTIVATE / Agile methodologies.

  • Security & Reporting Controls: Establish and maintain robust reporting authorization controls to ensure data is accessible strictly to authorized personnel.

  • Cross-System Integration: Translate business requirements into functional specifications, configuration, data modeling, and testing while managing integration with non-SAP systems and Microsoft tools like Power BI.

🎓 Educational Qualification & Certifications

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum, Management, IT, Finance, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.

  • Certifications: Professional certifications in BW/4HANA, BDC, BPC, BCS, or SAC are a strong plus.

💼 Professional Experience & Technical Requirements

  • Total Experience: 9+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in SAP BW/4HANA or Cloud implementation, HANA Data modeling, HANA Studio, BW modeling, and ETL development/enhancements using SDI, BODS, or OSI Soft connectors.

  • Lifecycle & Migration Experience:

    • At least 1 full lifecycle implementation on BCS/4HANA, BPC, Datasphere, or SAC.

    • At least 1 end-to-end migration of BPC to BPC4/HANA.

  • Core Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in extractor development, data model design, SAC / SAP BO Console Management System Security, authorization controls, and data mart development.

  • Domain & Soft Skills: Oil & Gas sector experience preferred. Strong understanding of S/4HANA functional modules, excellent stakeholder management, and fluent written and spoken English.
